YEAH, I JUST WROTE A WALL OF TEXT I'M NOT REWRITING. I REALLY HATE THE BACKSPACE BUTTON. IT SENT ME BACK TO MY MESSAGES PAGE. Mochi is not amused. I'll shorten it, 'cos you probably weren't going to read all of that, anyway.

I'm going to my first con this September (Kumoricon)! I'm excited, but I'm also dreading it. Why? Well, school starts the Tuesday after. Might as well enjoy summer while it lasts, though. I've spent most of it obsessively taking art notes and drawing, minus my cousins visiting and abducting my time and attention. I'm not too good at socializing, so I'd rather be doing my own thing. Of course, a certain aunt of mine who lives two blocks away doesn't understand that and bitterly tells me I should get a life and go places and vacation for the summer.

Anyway, I'm thinking of cosplaying as Mio from K-ON. I'm not one to spend loads of money all at once (unless it's for books or art supplies; I love my books and art supplies~), so I'm thinking of making the cosplay myself. I've done the math and figured out the pattern, and I think it'll cost me roughly $30 (plus endless hours of frustration and toil), which is still a lot, but it'll be worth it. Plus, it helps that I count it as an art supply, haha.

In other news, I've accomplished my childhood dream!!! With my cousins, Tati and Andrew, I started a lemonade stand. After having no customers for thirty minutes, we migrated from my house to the park. Two hours passed, and still no customers, so I lugged all of the heavy things (like, you know, the TABLE AND GUITAR) back home, where we drank our lemonade. It was quite delicious. I think we put in Lemons, sugar, honey, and blueberries (for decoration, but the tasted great after marinating in lemonade).
